I build systems that hold.

I'm Deependra Vishwakarma, a senior software engineer based in Mumbai. I design, build and scale web platforms and applied-AI systems end to end: architecture, code, cloud and security. I've led platform engineering for a media group, from a real-time voting platform to a CMS migration for a motoring magazine. I work in your hours and write weekly updates.

Story

The short story

I started building for clients in 2018, first as a web development intern and then as a freelancer delivering management systems and business websites. From there I moved into product teams: e-commerce integrations at Shoppingara, a telemedicine platform at Mind Frame India, and then senior software engineer at Exhibit Magazine India, where I owned engineering across InfluencerX, TopGear India, Exhibit Social and an AI-powered digital wardrobe app. That work covered the whole stack: Laravel and Node services, Next.js front ends, Redis and queue-based scaling, Google Cloud and AWS infrastructure, security hardening, and machine-learning pipelines in production. Today I work as an independent freelancer and consultant with teams in the United States, Europe, the Gulf, Japan and Korea. I take on work where reliability matters: launches that can't fall over, legacy systems that need a modern core, and AI features that have to be safe and affordable in production. I'm based in Mumbai (UTC+5:30) and plan my day around my clients' hours.

I care most about the parts of a system nobody notices until they fail: the slow query, the missing cache, the deploy only one person knows how to run. Getting those right is the job.

    Owned engineering across the group's digital products: architected the InfluencerX voting platform, split a legacy monolith into independent services, migrated TopGear India's CMS to Laravel on Google Cloud, led the AI pipeline team for the Digital Wardrobe app, built automated data collection for Exhibit Social, and ran the production servers on Google Cloud and AWS.
