A senior software engineer for Seattle cloud and SaaS teams
Cloud and DevOps work, API integrations, SaaS platforms and database tuning for Seattle teams, with written handovers built for the gap between the Pacific day and mine.
01
Why Seattle teams bring me this work
If your Seattle team already runs on AWS or Google Cloud, what you probably need from outside is a second senior engineer for the parts nobody owns: a deployment only one person understands, a database that slowed down as the data grew, an integration that drops records without telling anyone. I've managed 15+ production servers, including a media group's products across both clouds, and I write everything up so your team keeps the knowledge after the engagement ends.
What teams across the United States bring me
- Enterprise buyers send security questionnaires, and the number of state privacy laws keeps growing.
- An app built in a hurry, by an agency, a contractor or AI tools, is now slow, fragile or risky to change, and customers have noticed.

The hours we share with Seattle
Seattle is on Pacific time, like San Francisco: your 09:00 is 22:30 in Mumbai in winter and 21:30 in summer. Infrastructure work suits that gap: changes are prepared and tested in my day, rolled out in an agreed window at the start of yours, and written into a runbook your on-call engineer can follow.
Each city's 09:00–18:00 working day on the clock in Mumbai (UTC+5:30), in January and in July, so daylight saving is accounted for.
| City | In January | In July |
|---|---|---|
| SeattleUTC−8 / UTC−7 | 22:30–07:30 (next day) | 21:30–06:30 (next day) |
Clocks Daylight saving time runs from 2:00 a.m. local time on the second Sunday in March to 2:00 a.m. on the first Sunday in November (15 U.S.C. 260a). India keeps one clock all year, so only your side moves.

Rules a Seattle team's software meets
Consumer health data
Washington's My Health My Data Act governs consumer health data, including health inferences drawn from things like purchases. Regulated entities had to comply with its main sections from 31 March 2024 and small businesses from 30 June 2024, and out-of-state processors are covered too.

Enforcement, and a separate policy
A violation of the My Health My Data Act is a per se violation of the Washington Consumer Protection Act, enforced by the Attorney General and through private lawsuits. The Act also requires a separate consumer health data privacy policy, linked prominently from the homepage.

Breach notification
Washington requires notice to affected consumers no more than thirty calendar days after a breach is discovered, and notice to the Attorney General within thirty days when more than 500 Washington residents are affected (RCW 19.255.010).

Questions from Seattle teams
What hours do we share with Seattle?
Your 09:00 is 22:30 in Mumbai from early November to mid-March and 21:30 the rest of the year. Rollouts go in an agreed window at the start of your day; everything before and after it is prepared, tested and written up on my side of the clock.
Does Washington's My Health My Data Act apply to us?
It can, even if yours isn't a health app: it covers consumer health data, including health inferences drawn from things like purchases, and out-of-state processors too. Where it applies, you need a separate consumer health data privacy policy linked prominently from your homepage, and a violation can be enforced through private lawsuits as well as by the Attorney General. Confirm what applies with your counsel.
Do you have an office in Seattle?
No. I work remotely from Mumbai, with no office or staff in Seattle, and I don't offer in-person meetings there. Access to your cloud accounts is granted to me like any contractor's, with credentials scoped to the job and revoked when we finish.
