Web platforms and SaaS

Custom web applications, APIs and integrations, built to be inherited.

Custom SaaS products, dashboards, internal tools, content platforms, and the APIs and integrations between them, in Laravel, Node.js, Python or Next.js. I build them the way I'd want to inherit them: typed, tested, documented and observable.

Is it a fit?

For

  • Teams adding a major product area or a new platform alongside an existing one
  • Companies whose billing, CRM and internal systems still sync by hand or by spreadsheet
  • Publishers and media companies that have outgrown their CMS

Not for

  • WordPress theme or plugin customization
  • Projects that need a large agency team from the first day

What you get

  • Application source code with automated tests
  • A REST or GraphQL API with OpenAPI documentation
  • Integrations with retries, signed webhooks and alerting
  • Staging and production environments, deployed and monitored
  • Architecture and operations documentation

How it runs

  1. 01

    Discovery

We map the workflows, the data and the systems the platform must talk to, and agree what done means.

  2. 02

    Architecture

A short written design: data model, API contracts, integration points and hosting. You approve it before the build starts.

  3. 03

    Build in increments

Working software on staging every week, reviewed together, with priorities adjusted as we learn.

  4. 04

    Launch and support

Production deploy with monitoring and a runbook, then maintenance or a retainer if you want one.

Typical stack: Laravel · Node.js · Python / FastAPI · Next.js · Vue.js · PostgreSQL · MySQL · Redis · Stripe · OpenAPI

Questions

Which stack do you use?

Laravel, Node.js or Python on the backend; Next.js or Vue.js on the front end; PostgreSQL or MySQL with Redis. We choose together, based on your team and what the product needs.

Can you work inside our existing codebase?

Yes. Most of this work is on existing systems. I start by reading the code and writing down what I find, before changing anything.

How do you handle integrations that fail?

Every integration gets retries with exponential backoff, idempotency where the other side supports it, signed webhooks, and alerts when something keeps failing. Data isn't silently lost.

Do you build CMS platforms?

Yes: custom editorial platforms in Laravel, and headless setups that feed Next.js front ends, with editorial workflows, roles, media handling and migration from the old system with redirects preserved.

  • Legacy modernization: Move an aging system to a modern stack without stopping the business.
