Why Paris teams bring me this work

If you're building with LLMs in Paris, you need what any serious AI feature needs: retrieval that finds the right document, an evaluation set that tells you when quality slips, defences against prompt injection, and a cost per answer you can defend. You also need a product that follows the CNIL's rules from the first release, including the age rule for teenagers. I work in English; French copy and support stay with your team.

What teams across the European Union bring me

  • You're adding AI features and need to meet the AI Act's transparency duties: people must know when they are dealing with an AI system.
  • Your stack has to pass a GDPR review: data maps, processor terms, transfers and retention.

The hours we share with Paris

Paris is on Central European Time: your 09:00 is 13:30 in Mumbai in winter and 12:30 in summer, so your morning is my afternoon and most of the working day is shared. Each sprint ends with a demo in that window and a written summary in English.

Each city's 09:00–18:00 working day on the clock in Mumbai (UTC+5:30), in January and in July, so daylight saving is accounted for.

Rules a Paris team's software meets

The supervisory authority and the national act

France's supervisory authority is the CNIL (Commission nationale de l'informatique et des libertés), an independent administrative authority. The national data-protection act is Law No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 on information technology, files and freedoms (loi Informatique et Libertés).

Digital age of consent

Under the loi Informatique et Libertés, a minor can consent alone to the processing of personal data for information-society services from age 15. Below 15, consent must be given jointly by the minor and the holder or holders of parental authority.

Accessibility law

France transposed the European Accessibility Act through Article 16 of Law No. 2023-171 of 9 March 2023, which created Article L. 412-13 of the Consumer Code. It requires covered products and services to meet accessibility requirements set by ministerial order.

When the accessibility rules apply

The French government's design service notes that the accessibility rules have applied since 28 June 2025, including to e-commerce, banking, transport and telephone services, and points to the DGCCRF for official information.

Questions from Paris teams

What hours do we share with Paris?

Your 09:00 is 13:30 in Mumbai from late October to late March and 12:30 in summer, so your morning is my afternoon. Demos and reviews go in that shared window; summaries follow in writing.

What does French law add for an app teenagers use?

An age rule: under the loi Informatique et Libertés, a minor can consent alone to an information-society service from 15; below that, consent comes jointly from the minor and the holder of parental authority. The engineering is an age step in sign-up and a consent record that shows who agreed. Confirm what applies with your counsel.

Do you work in French?

I work in English. Specifications, reports and code reviews are in English, and the French interface copy should come from your team or a native writer.

Do you have an office in Paris?

No. I work remotely from Mumbai, with no office or staff in France, and I don't offer in-person meetings in Paris. Sprint demos happen on video.
